"What the Shell"

This piece serves as a constant reminder to the artist that the image you start off with in your head is rarely the same image that ends up on the page when you are done, for better or for worse.  This piece was originally going to be called "Turtley", but the design went off in another direction sometime after the second layer of webbing was started, at whcih point it all went to shell.  The artist loves or hates this piece, depending on the day and whether or not he's had any THC.

Original Pen & Ink Drawing, 2023.  Original size is 16" x 20", which is optimal print size for full scope of line work detail, though it's available in various standard-frame sizes.

Printed on high quality, 176gsm uncoated paper.  Printed in the USA.
